Lustau PAPIRUSA Manzanilla is an outstanding sherry that is known for its freshness and finesse. With an alcohol content of 15 % vol., this sherry is produced from the best Palomino grapes from the Sanlúcar de Barrameda region in Spain. This region, which is known for its special climatic conditions and the influence of the Atlantic, offers ideal conditions for the organic ageing process, during which the flavours develop under the characteristic "flor" yeast cap. The PAPIRUSA Manzanilla stands for tradition and craftsmanship and was masterfully vinified by the renowned Lustau house, which is known for its outstanding quality.
"Papirusa", which means "elegant and beautiful", was the name of a doll that Lustau Emilio gave to the daughter of Joaquín Burgos, the first manager of Bodegas Lustau, in the 1940s. This name reflects the elegance and fine character of the sherry. The PAPIRUSA Manzanilla is an ideal example of Lustau's excellence and offers an exceptional flavour experience that embodies the high art of sherry production.
