The Wild Geese Premium Rum is a full-bodied premium rum with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle, which combines an extraordinary history with the art of rum-making. The blend is crafted from carefully selected rums from Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana, which are aged for up to eight years in their countries of origin. In particular, the proportion of Jamaican pot still rum lends the blend its expressive character, whilst Barbados contributes elegance and Guyana provides aromatic depth. The result is a harmonious rum with a complex profile and a well-balanced structure.


The name ‘The Wild Geese’ pays homage to the Irish emigrants and exiles who were forced to leave their homeland following the Treaty of Limerick in 1691. Many were deported to the Caribbean and America, or emigrated there, where they worked under the most difficult conditions and later sought their way to freedom. This moving story of courage, perseverance and freedom is reflected in the brand’s identity and makes the rum a tribute to the indomitable spirit of the ‘Wild Geese’.
