Raki, Turkey's renowned national drink, is an indispensable part of Turkish festivities. Whether at a relaxed meal with friends at home, a large celebration or a dinner in a restaurant - raki enriches every social gathering with its characteristic flavour.

This esteemed spirit has a tradition of around 300 years and is made in Anatolia from carefully selected ingredients: Aniseed, pure white granulated sugar and soft spring water. These components give raki its unmistakable aroma and fine flavour.

In the first phase of the distillation process, selected grape varieties from Anatolia are processed. These grapes are harvested when ripe, dried and then fermented. In the subsequent second distillation stage, high-quality pimpinella aniseed is added to the resulting suma. The Álá undergoes a maturation process in oak barrels, which gives it its unique aroma and characteristic flavour.
