Description
Jack Daniel's, founded in 1866 by Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is one of the most recognised whisky brands in the world. The distillery is still located at its original site in Lynchburg, a small town in Moore County, which is known for its historical significance and picturesque landscape. The brand's Tennessee whiskey is made from high-quality Swedish wheat and pure water from the company's own limestone spring and undergoes the unique "Charcoal Mellowing" process, which gives it its characteristic mildness and purity.
Jack Daniel's is committed to sustainability and social responsibility, focussing on environmentally friendly practices and supporting local communities. The distillery itself is a major landmark and attracts thousands of visitors each year who are given an insight into the traditional whisky making process and the history of the brand.
To date, there have been seven Manners who have worked as Master Distillers at Jack Daniel's Distillery. The Jack Daniel's MASTER DISTILLER bottlings honour these outstanding personalities.
This Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series bottling is dedicated to Master Distiller Lem Tolley, Jack Daniel's great-nephew. Lem Tolley was Master Distiller during the Second World War and successfully held this position for 23 years. Each bottle has a serial number on the label and is a limited bottling.
