The renowned champagne house Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot and has since secured its place among the biggest names in Champagne. With a particular focus on the Pinot Noir grape variety, the house has created a tradition that combines elegance, structure and depth in every drop.
After Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, the famous Veuve Clicquot, took over the company in 1810, she revolutionised Champagne production and made the brand famous worldwide. Today, Veuve Clicquot belongs to the luxury group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) and is under the direction of head winemaker Jacques Peters. The company's motto remains the same to this day: "Only one quality - the finest".
With the Veuve Clicquot Rich range, the house reinterprets the world of champagne. The blend consists of 45% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 15% Chardonnay - a composition that gives the champagne its fruity, aromatic depth.
