Citadelle NO MISTAKE Old Tom Gin is an exceptional Old Tom Gin from France, with an alcohol content of 46 per cent, in a 0.5-litre bottle complete with a gift box. Inspired by the historic gin styles of 18th- and 19th-century England, the Citadelle Distillery offers a modern take on the classic Old Tom Gin. It is based on a high-quality gin that is matured in various types of wooden casks, giving it additional depth and complexity. It is then refined with roasted cane sugar, which has also been matured in casks. This special production process lends the gin an elegant sweetness without masking its characteristic juniper and botanical notes. The name ‘No Mistake’ pays homage to the English writer Charles Dickens and is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the extraordinary flavour of this historic gin interpretation.


Citadelle NO MISTAKE Old Tom Gin combines harmonious bittersweet aromas with remarkable complexity. Candied lemon peel, aniseed and almonds provide the opening notes, followed by subtle spicy notes such as nutmeg, cinnamon and cubeb pepper. In the long finish, floral, spicy and woody nuances unfold, with hints of violet, angelica and liquorice.
