Description
The production of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs reflects the unique expertise of the Maison Ruinart and is the result of a long fermentation process in the famous Crayères, the underground chalk cellars. To preserve the high quality of this champagne, it is recommended to store it away from natural and artificial light sources, as light can negatively affect the delicate flavours.
The Chardonnay grape variety plays a central role for Ruinart. The grapes come mainly from the renowned Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims wine regions and form the basis for all of the company's cuvées. The grapes are traditionally harvested by hand and the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is made from Chardonnay grapes from different vintages, with 20-25% reserve wines from the last two years added to ensure consistent quality.
