The Bacardi Añejo Cuatro is a high-quality gold rum that has been allowed to mature for at least four years in oak barrels under the Caribbean sun. Produced by the world-renowned Bacardi brand, which stands for over 160 years of rum expertise, this premium rum combines the experience of the traditional distillery with the demands of modern rum culture. The Añejo Cuatro is distilled from fine sugar cane molasses and is significantly more complex and balanced than younger standard rums.
With an alcohol content of 40 % vol., this rum offers a round, warm flavour and a balanced mouthfeel. Several years of barrel ageing give it a multi-layered profile with notes of vanilla, toasted oak, dried fruit and a light honey sweetness. The golden colour is exclusively due to the barrel ageing - without the addition of colouring agents. This makes it not only an ideal mixing rum, but also a delight for Purists.
