In the picturesque landscape of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles is the third generation to run the traditional family fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Federal College for Wine and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents' harvest of apples, pears, plums and peaches. He began distilling fine brandies in 1979, followed by the founding of his high-quality vinegar factory in 1984. Today, the range includes around twenty fine brandies and just as many types of vinegar, which are regularly recognised.

Gölles Alter Pfirsich peach brandy matures for eight years in oak barrels, developing a fine aroma of vanilla, wood and roasted flavours. The East Styrian peaches develop a special flavour through this ageing process, resulting in a dense distillate.

With an alcohol content of 60.2%, Gölles Alter Pfirsich is a strong brandy that appeals to lovers of intense flavours and is also popular with fans of robust whisky.
