The Kilchoman PORT CASK MATURED Single Malt Scotch Whisky Limited Edition 2024 is a strictly limited special bottling from the independent farm distillery Kilchoman Distillery and emphasises the company's experimental cask approach. For this edition, the whisky matured exclusively in Ruby Port hogsheads for the entire maturation period, selected from two different maturation ages, with the youngest cask being 6 years old. This bottling was bottled at 50% vol., which preserves the structure, depth and cask character. As is usual with Kilchoman, the bottling is carried out without chill filtration and without colouring agents; the intense natural colour comes exclusively from the cask maturation.


The complete maturation in port casks gives the Kilchoman Port Cask Matured 2024 a clearly independent character within the distillery's portfolio. The maritime Islay style is retained, but is expanded and deepened through the targeted use of Ruby Port Hogsheads. With this limited edition, Kilchoman consistently pursues the aim of using cask maturation as a creative element without masking the identity of the distillate.
