The grapes come from selected vineyards in the renowned Douro region, where they ripen under optimal climatic conditions. The grapes are harvested by hand in several stages in order to select only perfectly ripe grapes. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and traditionally fermented in stone fermentation vats. The wine then matures for at least ten years in old oak barrels, developing its characteristic tawny colour and complex aromas of nuts, dried fruit and fine wood notes. With 20% alcohol by volume, this 10-year-old Tawny Port is particularly round, soft and complex.
