The renowned Irish distillery Teeling has launched a single pot still Irish whiskey for the first time in over 50 years, marking a significant event in Irish whiskey history. A carefully selected blend of 50% unmalted and 50% malted barley is used to produce this whiskey, giving it a unique balance and depth.

After a triple distillation, which is traditional for Irish whiskey, the whiskey is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks, wine casks and virgin oak casks. This variety of cask types enables the whiskey to develop a complex and multi-layered flavour profile. Bottling took place in October 2022.

With this bottling, Teeling is building on the rich tradition of Irish single pot still whiskey while setting new standards in modern whiskey production.
