Old Pulteney HUDDART The Maritime Malt is a distinctive Highland single malt Scotch whisky that was launched in 2018 as part of a new core range from the long-established Old Pulteney Distillery. Named after Huddart Street in Wick, where the distillery is located, this Maritime Malt clearly carries the salty influence of the North Sea coast. As a no age statement whisky, Huddart focuses on cask strategy and character rather than age statement.


The Old Pulteney Huddart 46% is characterised by its finish in casks that previously housed heavily peated malts. This gives this Highland whisky with a peated cask finish a subtle smoky flavour without losing its typical maritime style. The maturation combines classic oak cask ageing with this special post-maturing process and creates an exciting balance between fruit, sweetness, salt and smoke.
