The name Scarabus comes from a rocky place on the island of Islay, known for its smoky and salty whiskies. This whisky captures the undiscovered, enigmatic element of Islay in every bottle and is intended to create a sense of mystery and enigma when tasted.

The design motifs on the bottle were inspired by Scottish scholar and author John Francis Campbell and reflect the traditional craftsmanship that goes into making Scarabus whisky. The SCARABUS Islay single malt is matured in classic oak casks and, at 46% vol., offers a strong and complex flavour characterised by intense smokiness, salty sea notes and fruity sweetness.
