The first maturation phase takes place traditionally in ex-bourbon barrels, creating structure, depth and a clear basic character. After careful blending of the individual distillates, the blend is matured for a further 5 years in ex Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which gives this double-aged rum its exceptional elegance and aromatic density.
