Description
Boë Scottish Gin has a remarkable history dating back to 1658. Back then, the world-famous Professor Franz de la Boë blended a clear grain spirit with hand-picked juniper berries while meticulously searching for a medicinal tonic. In the process, he invented the world's first gin - a milestone that still forms the basis for this traditional spirit today.
In Scotland, Boë Scottish Gin is produced as a high-quality distilled gin. It is created in small batches under the watchful eye of the master distiller, whereby rare, hand-picked botanicals and Werder are infused in the finest, neutral grain alcohol and carefully distilled. Triple filtration allows its full flavour to unfold, characterised by fresh citrus notes, exceptional balance and a velvety smoothness. Bottled at 41.5% vol., it combines historical inspiration with modern distilling skills and preserves the spirit of Franz de la Boë, who lived from 1614 to 1672.
