The Ron Abuelo Añejo 7 Años 40% Vol. 0.7 l is an elegant, full-bodied premium rum from Panama that is known for its balance, depth and gentle sweetness. It is produced by the traditional Varela Hermanos distillery, which has been synonymous with the highest quality and authentic craftsmanship since 1908. This rum embodies the Panamanian style in its purest form - harmonious, aromatic and characterised by the tropical climate of Central America, which naturally accelerates the maturation process.


Abuelo 7 Años is a rich blend of exquisite rums aged for 7 years in carefully selected small oak barrels. Under the careful supervision of the experienced master blender, the result is a rum that is prized for its distinctively rounded and exceptional flavour. The interplay of fine vanilla, caramel, honey and subtle woody notes creates an impressive depth and complexity.


The rum is made from the finest molasses, which is obtained from our own sugar cane cultivation. Controlled fermentation and distillation in column stills produces a distillate of the highest purity, which is then matured in tropical conditions. The influence of the Panamanian climate gives the Ron Abuelo 7 Años its characteristic warmth and intensity.
