The Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is the second exceptional bottling in the renowned Concertmaster series and represents the perfect combination of Taiwanese whisky artistry and classic cask finishing. Produced at the Kavalan Whisky Distillery in Yilan, the first and most important distillery in Taiwan, this whisky combines the tropical climate, the purest spring water from the snowy mountains and masterful craftsmanship to create an elegant, harmonious single malt.


The Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish first matures in refill bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This maturation process gives it its fruity depth, nutty sweetness and velvety texture. In contrast to the Port Cask Edition, this variant emphasises the warm, aromatic complexity of sherry maturation - an expression of the fine balance between wood, fruit and delicate spice. Bottled at 40% vol, natural colour and not chill-filtered, it is at its purest.
