The Nonino distilleries are unique in the world, as they comprise five artisanal distilleries, each equipped with 12 copper pot stills. Each of these distilleries represents a family member, and there is also one steam still for each grandchild, illustrating the family’s ongoing dedication to the art of distillation.

Nonino Grappa Monovitigni Single Grapes is produced from the pomace of Pinot, Prosecco and Malvasia grapes, which are carefully selected and processed. Distillation takes place in traditional copper steam stills using the batch steam method, which has been refined by the Nonino family over generations and specifically modernised by Benito Nonino. This process, which is carried out very slowly, allows for the optimal extraction of the volatile compounds from the pomace – the carriers of the aromas.

The grappa thus combines the characteristic notes of the various grapes in a harmonious distillate and showcases the outstanding craftsmanship of the Nonino family.
