Kopke Fine Ports are versatile wines that are the result of a blend of young ports from different harvests, aged for a minimum of three years.
The three different styles - Tawny, Ruby and White - are ideal for a first contact with Kopke Port wines.
Hand-picked at the optimum time, the grapes are destemmed, crushed and transformed into wine through careful maceration to extract their colour, tannins and aromas, which are enhanced by constant stirring during fermentation.
This takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 28 and 30°C until the right degree of sweetness (Baumé) is reached.
At this point, grape spirit is added to produce the final liqueur wine. The result is a rich and aromatic wine with the perfect sweetness, obtained by blending wines from different harvests with different levels of maturity in stainless steel and wood for at least 3 years.
