Description
La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge 16.5% vol. 0.75 litre is part of Jean-Sébastien Robicquet's high-quality Vermouth collection, which was created as a tribute to Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye, the garden architect of King Ludwig XIV. Each bottle bears the Fleur de Lys, the symbol of the French monarchy, and thus refers to the historical connection with the Palace of Versailles. The Vermouths are based on a combination of wines and Pineau des Charentes, a regional speciality made from unfermented grape must and eau-de-vie de Cognac from the IGP Charentais region. The blush version is composed from a complex blend of 28 herbs and spices, including wormwood, vine blossoms and a variety of aromatic botanicals. This vermouth is then matured for eight months in French oak barrels, which gives it additional depth, structure and harmonious richness.
This careful composition makes Vermouth Royal Rouge an intense, aromatically multi-layered representative of the French Vermouth tradition. It combines classic bitter and herbal notes with a pronounced fruity depth, making it suitable both for pure enjoyment and for high-quality cocktail creations in the modern bar world. Its stylistic clarity, aromatic diversity and elegant barrel ageing give it an independent presence that makes it a versatile companion for aperitif-like moments, mixology and gastronomic concepts.
