Barsol Pisco MOSTO VERDE ITALIA is a high-quality premium pisco from Peru, produced using traditional methods from the aromatic Italia grape. With an alcohol content of 41.8% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle, this bottling belongs to the particularly exclusive ‘Mosto Verde’ category, in which distillation takes place using grape must that is already half-fermented. This labour-intensive process requires significantly more grapes than the production of a classic pisco and results in exceptionally intense aromas and a particularly smooth texture. Barsol combines centuries-old craftsmanship with modern technology. A specially developed pressing system extracts only the pure grape juice without damaging the bitter grape seeds. Distillation then takes place in two historic copper stills of French origin, which ensures that the delicate aromas of the Italia grape are perfectly preserved.
