Bottega Limoncino Limoncello Liqueur is a classic Italian limoncello, produced according to a traditional recipe that reflects Italy’s Mediterranean lemon-growing heritage. With an alcohol content of 30 % vol. in a 1-litre bottle, this high-quality lemon liqueur is based on a recipe whose origins date back to the late 19th century. Only the zest of the famous Femminello lemons is used in its production. This variety of lemon, which is widespread in Italy, is characterised by its particularly fine zest and a high content of valuable essential oils. The fruit is organically grown, harvested at the optimum stage of ripeness, carefully peeled by hand, and only the yellow, aromatic peel is used in production, whilst the bitter white pith is completely removed.


The lemon peel is macerated in alcohol for around 30 days, allowing the natural flavours, aromas and characteristic colour to develop to their full potential. After maceration, the extract is separated from the peel and then refined with sugar and high-quality grappa. This gives Bottega Limoncino Limoncello its particularly harmonious, full-bodied character and its unmistakable Italian signature.
