Machir Bay is predominantly composed of malts aged for around six years and matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, supplemented by a smaller proportion of Oloroso sherry casks. It is not chill-filtered and is bottled without colouring, which preserves the texture and all flavour-giving oils and esters.
