"Erbe e spezie" is the amaro that comes from Prime Uve Nere, the most meditative grape distillate from the Distilleria Bonaventura Maschio, with its spicy and toasty notes, a result of ageing in wood.

The spices are in fact the scents that most characterise the "Amaro Bonaventura" Erbe e spezie. The area from which this Amaro originates, the Venetian region, was a crossroads of cultures, of Eastern merchants and their opulence, of scents and flavours that flowed in from all over the world.

The spicy side of its complex structure is carried by cinnamon, vanilla and tonka beans. The bitter side includes gentian, cinchona bark, clary sage and bitter orange; fennel and caraway, known as Persian cumin, add a delicate balsamic note.
