Etsu Japanese Gin Pacific Ocean Water is an innovative premium gin from Japan that impresses with its maritime character, clear flavour and handcrafted production. Distilled at the Asahikawa Distillery on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaidō, this gin is based on an unusual recipe: the water used during the distillation process is taken directly from the depths of the Pacific Ocean. This special feature gives the gin its mineral freshness and subtle saltiness, which harmonises perfectly with the finely balanced botanicals.

To develop its characterful flavour profile, the botanical ingredients are macerated for 22 hours before distillation. Typical Japanese botanicals such as yuzu peel, bitter orange, green tea, sansho pepper and coriander are used, which, in combination with the seawater, create a complex, clear and invigorating flavour experience.
