The story of Elit Vodka begins on the Kerchnskoye Estate, in the Tambov region of Russia.

This envied land was specially selected for its fertile black soil - an idyllic setting for growing the highest quality grain.

After a slow fermentation of the carefully selected grain, a triple distillation is carried out to "cleanse" the spirit of any traces of menthol.

The artesian spring water used, which is blended with the distillate, comes from Latvijas Balzams in Riga, Latvia.

To remove impurities, it is filtered through superfine quartz sand, while the use of Russian birch charcoal helps to further optimise the spirit.

To ensure that the Elit retains its uncompromising quality, it undergoes a further filtering process known as "freezing".

A filtering process that is additionally applied after traditional Russian filtering. The vodka is stored in barrels at temperatures of -18°, which freezes all impurities on the walls of the barrels.

The super-chilled spirit is passed through ionised filters at ultra-slow speed and finally allowed to rest.
