Taylor's is one of the most renowned producers of matured tawnies. The 20 Year Old Tawny matures in small used oak barrels with a capacity of around 630 litres.

During its long maturation, it gradually takes on the characteristic brick-red 'tawny' colour and develops complex ripe aromas and the soft luscious palate that characterise a tawny port.

In 20 Year Old Tawny, Taylor's blends around twenty year old Port wines from its extensive stocks, which are matured in small casks in the house's cool and tranquil lodges in Porto, on Portugal's Atlantic coast.

In the 20 Year Old Tawny, the fruit has gently developed further and the spicy, nutty flavours of maturity are more intense and powerful than in the 10 Year Old Tawny.
