Description
The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roer area in the municipality of Piobesì d'Alba, a few kilometres from Alba.
The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling licence, the No 1 of the UTF.
A fine Barolo grappa that matures for 15 years in fine oak barrels and is limited to just a few numbered bottles.
A true collector's item.
Grappa Piemontese is made from Barbera pomace from freshly selected grapes chosen by Sibona during the harvest.
Distillation is carried out entirely in-house in copper stills, while ageing takes place for a Langs period in stainless steel vats. A very long ageing process, first in medium and then in smaller oak barrels, completes this grappa.
