The distillery is located in the picturesque Lorraine region of France and uses traditional methods and high-quality raw materials to produce its whisky. As peat extraction from the moors is banned in France, the peat required is imported from northern Germany, which gives the whisky a special flavour. Distillation takes place in classic copper stills, which ensure even heat distribution and optimum flavour extraction.

After distillation, the whisky is matured for five years, with 80% of the casks made from French oak and 20% from American oak, resulting in a unique variety of flavours. With a peat content of 33 ppm, the whisky has a characteristic smokiness that makes it special.
