A MarlinSpike is a pointed metal spike that was originally used to untie tight, salt-encrusted knots on wooden sailing ships that travelled the world's oceans in search of something new and unique.
Subsequently, this vital tool gave its name to the art of seamanship. Because of its shape and its ability to control force, it also gave its name to the majestic marlin fish.
An atypical composition of 3-5 year old matured rums from Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago delivers a surprising range of unusually fruity yet spicy, rare flavours.
For depth of flavour, an aged Jamaican pot still rum is added. For freshness, another Latin American rum rounds off this tour de force.
