The Macallan Concept No. 1 Limited Edition 2018 is part of an annual limited release that first appeared in 2018. By deliberately interrupting the production process, these visionaries are able to positively influence the process, introduce new innovative ideas and create fresh perspectives.

Maturation takes place not only in ex-sherry casks but also in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in the first Macallan to undergo double maturation. The design of the gift box and bottle label, inspired by Surrealism and created by the French artist Albert Simone, depicts Macallan’s “Six Pillars”. #macallancreates
