The Benriach Malting Season is a special bottling from the traditional Benriach Distillery, which specialises in the artful production of Speyside whiskies. This limited edition honours the artisanal tradition of malting, as only barley malted at the distillery itself is used for this bottling - a rare process in today's whisky production. Distillation takes place in copper pot stills, followed by maturation in carefully selected oak casks. Particular emphasis is placed on a harmonious balance between malty sweetness, spicy wood and fruity notes. The alcohol content of 48.7 % vol. ensures a strong yet smooth texture.
