Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Bottega Stella is a brut sparkling wine that is given its elegance and liveliness through the use of the select grape varieties Glera, Chardonnay and Pinot Nero. The grapes are carefully harvested between the end of August and the beginning of September, with the Pinot Nero grapes growing in the southernmost region of Lombardy, where rolling hills and favourable thermal conditions provide ideal conditions. The Glera and Chardonnay grapes, on the other hand, thrive in the optimal areas of Veneto, characterised by a temperate climate, favourable exposure and calcareous-clay soils.

The deep blue background of the bottle, which emphasises the stars, is illuminated by an LED light bulb at the bottom of the bottle, which can be activated at the flick of a switch, giving the Bottega Stella a special radiance and making it a highlight of any celebration.
