Roner Malecon owes its name to the famous "Malecon" waterfront promenade in Havana, the capital of Cuba, which is known for its lively atmosphere and historical significance. The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist who laid the foundations for Ron Malecon with his passion for high-quality rum. Ron Malecon is distilled using the traditional Cuban method from molasses in Panama, using copper column stills.

Rum Malecon has made it its mission to always create a high-quality premium rum with an unmistakable, distinctive flavour. The premium range includes rums aged 10, 12, 15 and 18 years, whereby carefully selected rums, each with unique flavours, are combined through precise blending so that the end product exceeds the sum of its parts and impresses with its harmonious complexity.

This dark premium rum is produced by the Caribbean Spirits distillery in Panama using traditional Cuban methods and is matured for at least 18 years in oak barrels, which gives it its characteristically deep and balanced flavour.
