The Schlumberger CUVÉE 1842 Reserve Brut 2015 is a great Austrian quality sparkling wine that stands for uncompromising craftsmanship, exceptional maturity and the highest precision. Produced by the traditional Schlumberger house, this cuvée is consistently made using the traditional bottle fermentation method and is one of the most expressive reserve sparkling wines in Austria. The grapes come from selected vineyards with deep, calcareous clay and loess soils, which give the wine its clear minerality and structure.


The cuvée consists of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which are harvested exclusively by hand. Whole-cluster pressing, fermentation and ageing in wooden barrels on the fine lees ensure depth, elegance and precise balance. The tirage takes place several months after the harvest, after which the sparkling wine matures for at least 50 months on the lees in the bottle. With an alcohol content of 12%, the 2015 vintage is powerful, yet finely structured and exceptionally complex. Bottled in the classic 0.75-litre bottle, this Reserve Brut Cuvée stands for long-lasting elegance, ageing potential and international class.
