The Presidente 15 Sistema Solera Rum is an excellent, full-bodied rum with an alcohol content of 40% vol. that is produced in the Dominican Republic. This rum uses the traditional Solera process, in which several rums with different maturation times are married in a unique system of barrels to achieve exceptional complexity and depth. The Presidente 15 Year Old is matured in a careful blend of oak and bourbon casks, which gives it its rich colour and characteristic aromas.
The 15-year-old Presidente Rum shows a remarkable balance between sweet, fruity notes and a gentle woody spiciness, which is the result of the long maturation in the Solera system. Langs ageing also brings out subtle notes of caramel, vanilla and spices, making the rum particularly complex and harmonious.
