This rum pays tribute to a lesser-known hero of the Philippine revolution, who once worked as a foreman on a sugar cane plantation and later joined the fight for his country's independence. The production of Don Papa Baroko begins with sugar cane, which grows on the fertile volcanic soils of Negros. After distillation, the rum matures in oak barrels, allowing it to develop its characteristic variety of flavours.

Only the best barrels are selected for the production of this limited edition in order to bring out the fruit and, in particular, vanilla flavours in the best possible way. A touch of local cane sugar is added to accentuate these flavours and create a unique taste creation.
