This bottling is produced by the renowned Francoli distillery, which has been known for generations for its precision, experience and consistent quality work. More than seven kilograms of red pomace are required for distillation, mainly from the Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo grape varieties, which are firmly rooted in Piedmont and give the grappa its multi-layered structure.


The fresh pomace is processed particularly gently in a continuous steam distillation system. The steam and pomace are channelled in countercurrent, allowing the alcohol and aromatic components to dissolve precisely. After separating the first run, heart and second run, only the heart of the distillate is used for this high-quality grappa. The subsequent three-year maturation in medium-sized oak barrels gives the grappa additional depth, elegance and structure. The Grappa Riserva 3 Anni is bottled at 41.5%, which gives it strength, balance and a harmonious overall effect. The combination of grape varieties ensures a broad spectrum of flavours that skilfully combines fruit, spice and floral nuances.
