The picturesque, snow-white Talisker distillery, which was founded by two brothers in 1831, is located on the wild and romantic coast of the Isle of Skye, south of Dunvegan. After their deaths, numerous successors tried to successfully continue the distillery, but all failed. Only a financial manager and a wine and spirits merchant succeeded in taking over the business. After a devastating fire in 1960, the distillery was rebuilt true to the original.

The 25-year-old whisky from Talisker, which is distilled and bottled in the immediate vicinity of the rough sea, takes on its unmistakable maritime character thanks to this special location. After 25 years of maturation in carefully selected oak casks, it develops its exceptional depth and complexity. As it is a limited edition, this whisky is particularly sought-after and is aimed primarily at collectors and connoisseurs.
