Blanton's The Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 46.5% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is considered one of the pioneering bottlings within the single barrel bourbon category and is produced in the traditional Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle comes from a single barrel and is taken exclusively from the coveted centre cut of the famous Warehouse H, the warehouse that offers particularly constant maturing conditions. Originally, these casks were intended exclusively for diplomats, dignitaries and close friends of Colonel Albert B. Blanton. However, Blanton's has been officially available since 1984 and became internationally recognised as the "world's first" single barrel bourbon.
