The Taittinger Champagne Folies de la Marquetterie Brut 12.5% ABV, in a 0.75 l bottle with a gift box, is an exceptional prestige cuvée from the House of Champagne Taittinger and holds a special place within the range. As the Maison’s first champagne produced exclusively from its own vineyards, it impressively embodies the heritage and history of the Taittinger family. The grapes come exclusively from the single vineyard ‘Les Folies’, which surrounds the historic Château de la Marquetterie and is regarded as the family’s cradle in Champagne.


The cuvée consists of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay. Yields are reduced through selective green harvesting to achieve optimal ripeness and high concentration in the grapes. After the harvest, only the first pressings are used. Each plot is vinified separately, with individual batches aged in old oak barrels. The champagne is then aged in the bottle for around five years, during which time it develops its impressive depth, complexity and harmony. The result is an expressive single-vineyard Champagne from France that combines richness, elegance and the distinctive character of its unique terroir.
