The name Seara is a combination of the English word ‘Sea’ and the Japanese word ‘Sora’ for sky, symbolising the connection between the turquoise-blue sea and the radiant sky of Okinawa. This special craft vodka is produced by the renowned Masahiro Distillery, which boasts a long tradition of producing awamori, Okinawa’s famous rice spirit. As the first craft vodka from Okinawa, Seara combines traditional Japanese distilling artistry with modern vodka craftsmanship.


Carefully selected distillates made from rice and wheat are used in the production process, which involves a laborious, double distillation carried out by hand. The distillery’s expertise in awamori production is directly incorporated into the process, lending the vodka its unmistakable character.
