John Glaser and his team at Compass Box combine high-quality single malt and single grain whiskies from their own cask store in Scotland for their luxury blends.

The limited edition ULTRAMARINE is the first bottling in the new "Extinct Blends" quartet.

This whisky is inspired by the antique sherry and pipe tobacco flavours of a blended Scotch that first came onto the market in the late 1980s. The whisky is made from matured malts from the Caol Ila and Glendullan distilleries, aged grain whiskies from the Cameronbridge and Girvan distilleries, as well as previously married stocks.

-17.2% Girvan single grain

-15.6% Glendullan single malt

-10.8% blended grain parcel

-9% Blended Malt Parcel

-7.9% Highland Malt Blend

-6% Cameronbridge Single Grain

-4.8% Speyburn Single Malt

-4.2% Glen Ord Single Malt

-3.9% Blended Scotch Parcel

-1.9% Miltonduff Single Malt
