El Dorado 12 Years Old Finest Demerara Rum is an outstanding premium rum from Guyana that reflects the long tradition and distinctive terroir of the Demerara Valley. Produced by the renowned Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), this award-winning rum is composed of carefully selected molasses distillates produced in unique wooden stills such as the famous Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and the Coffey Still.
After distillation, El Dorado 12 Years Old is matured for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak, allowing it to develop its complex flavours, velvety texture and fine balance between sweetness and spice. The result is a rich, full-bodied rum with notes of dried fruit, toffee and spicy oak that delights connoisseurs worldwide.
