Founded in 1798, Tobermory Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and is located in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Since its foundation, it has experienced turbulent times with many changes of ownership and production stoppages. In 1993, Burn Stewart Distillers took over the distillery, which was sold to the South African Distill Group in 2013. In March 2017, production was halted once again in order to carry out reorganisation work. Despite these challenges, Tobermory remains an important part of the Scotch whisky tradition.

The 21-year-old Tobermory comes from a small batch production and was bottled in refill casks. After 15 years, it was transferred to Oloroso sherry casks, where it was allowed to mature to perfection. The result is a non-chill-filtered whisky with wonderfully sweet and lively notes.

This careful maturation and choice of casks gives the whisky an impressive complexity and depth that makes it a true connoisseur's delight. This production method preserves the natural flavours and ensures an unadulterated, authentic taste.
