El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Mezcal with worm is an authentic Mexican spirit that reflects the tradition and culture of Oaxaca. This mezcal is made from 100% espadín agave and epitomises the craftsmanship that has been cultivated in the region for centuries. The mezcal worm contained in the bottle is particularly striking, a symbol of traditional production and a sign of the quality and origin of the drink.
The production process follows traditional methods: The agave hearts (piñas) are slowly roasted in earth-buried stone ovens, which gives the mezcal its typical smoky notes. This is followed by natural fermentation and distillation in copper stills to preserve the flavours as much as possible. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, this mezcal offers an intense yet balanced flavour experience with a pleasant blend of smoke, agave notes and earthy tones.
