The story of the Beniamino Maschio family business begins in the middle of the 19th century in San Pietro di Feletto, Italy. Antonio Maschio set up a small distillery and so began the family's great adventure in the world of grappa.

In 2002, Beniamino Maschio took over the Distilleria dell'Alpe with the intention of developing a variety of liqueurs and gins typical of the Venetian tradition.

Kapriol Blood Orange & Peach is based on the original recipe for Kapriol Dry Gin. For Kapriol Dry Gin, juniper berries are stored at room temperature for fifteen days before the first distillation begins in copper stills from the Second World War. Finally, the gin is flavoured with Italian blood oranges and peaches.
