The GlenAllachie WINE SERIES Cuvée Cask Finish 2012 48% vol. 0.7 l + GB is an exclusive limited edition from The GlenAllachie Distillery’s renowned Wine Series. Under the guidance of Master Blender Billy Walker, exceptional Speyside single malts are created, with a focus on innovative cask maturation. For this special bottling, the whisky was first matured in ex-American bourbon casks before being transferred to carefully selected European red wine barriques for further maturation. What makes this cuvée so special is that four different wine cask finishes have been combined to create a unique composition. The elegant 0.7 l bottle, presented in a high-quality gift box, makes this bottling an excellent choice for collectors and connoisseurs of exceptional Speyside single malts.


For this edition, bottled in 2023, Billy Walker selected exclusively high-quality red wine barriques from renowned European wine regions. The casks used came from the French AOC regions of Languedoc and Médoc, as well as barriques from Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella in Italy. This exceptional combination of casks lends the whisky an opulent bouquet with intense red fruit, subtle spice and elegant citrus notes. The GlenAllachie Wine Series Cuvée Cask Finish 2012 is bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no colour added, thereby preserving its natural character and full range of flavours. The result is a complex and harmonious Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that impressively reflects Billy Walker’s signature style.
