The Ole Smoky Distillery in the Smoky Mountains has a deep history dating back over a century, beginning with the first settlers in the region. Despite the long tradition, the production of moonshine was not always legal until a change in Tennessee law made it possible to open the first state-licensed distillery in Gatlinburg.

"Tart" is by no means an accurate description of this Ole Smoky Moonshine. It starts with a strong, sour note that invigorates the senses and ends gently with a sweet, watermelon-like finish.
